Guelph Township Horticulture Society

The Guelph Township Horticultural Society meets the third Tuesday of each month from February to November (with the exception of July), at the Marden Community Centre.  Interesting speakers and demonstrations as well as flower and vegetable shows and a photographic competition educate and entertain our members.  They also plant and maintain gardens; their present project is an enabling garden, at the rear of Marden Library and Community Centre.  Their separate program, for 5-18 year olds, engages youth in activities ranging from growing their own gardens to making crafts such as birdhouses and stepping stones.
